Interior

The interior of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator is just like that of the dramatically improved Wrangler interior. The rear 60/40 split seat has a ton of storage options. It folds down to give access to lockable storage compartments in the rear wall of the cabin. You’ll also find bins under the seat bottoms. The seats also lock to keep people from accessing the rear storage. Additional interior features include:

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator features the Uconnect multimedia system with a 5-inch touchscreen. A 7-inch touchscreen or an 8.4-inch touchscreen is available. Additional technology features include:

• Two additional USB ports for the rear seat passengers;
• 8 speakers;
• A memory card slot;
• AM/FM stereo;
• An optional premium audio system; and
• Optional satellite radio.

Performance

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator features a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that makes 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Also available is a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine that makes 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. The Pentastar engine is backed by a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. The EcoDiesel is backed by the eight-speed automatic transmission. Two four-wheel drive system are offered: The Command-Trac system will come standard on the Overland and Sport trim levels, while the Rubicon gets the Rock-Trac system, which has a more aggressive low-range crawl ratio. All trim levels get heavy-duty Dana 44 axles on the front and rear, but the Rubicon will get electronic locking differentials in the front and rear. The Gladiator with the Pentastar gets 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
